Christina Goerdt, M.S.Ed., MHP

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Wisconsin, Superior, and am currently completing the licensure requirements to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). With over eight years of experience in behavioral mental health, I have dedicated much of my career to working with youth and adolescents. I spent five years as a behavioral residential treatment counselor and have extensive experience in CTSS/Case Management.

I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and theories, tailoring each approach to meet my clients’ unique needs. My practice is holistic, trauma-focused, strength-based, and person-centered, emphasizing that the client is the most integral part of the therapeutic process. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with complex trauma, personality disorders, attachment issues, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

I am deeply informed about the community and societal issues faced by BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am committed to providing a welcoming and accepting environment for all my clients. Currently, I am accepting new clients aged 18 and older.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling the world, propagating plants, spending time in nature, and playing with my animals.
