Life’s difficulties can often feel overwhelming, and in those moments, searching for answers can seem like an impossible task. It’s during these times that having a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate, and calm space to explore your thoughts and feelings becomes crucial. I’m deeply passionate about helping others make sense of their life experiences and finding the paths forward that work best for them.
In my therapeutic practice, I work collaboratively with individuals to achieve their desired outcomes. I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, including narrative, Brainspotting, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, Adlerian, positive psychology, and family systemic therapies. My overall approach is eclectic, carefully tailored to each situation and individual need.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy, with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy and clinical counseling. Additionally, I have a degree in addiction counseling and have been a licensed substance use counselor since 2009.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy making beaded jewelry, knitting, sewing, and creating music. I am also an animal lover and have a dog named Hamilton.
I believe that everyone possesses innate strengths and resilience to overcome challenges. Encouragement and positive affirmation of one’s life experiences are vital components of the healing process. If you are ready to move toward positive change, I encourage you to take that first step. I look forward to hearing from you and working together on your journey.
